Ganpyeongui is the simplied Honcheonui(celestial globe) for measuring and observing the location of the Sun. P.S. de Usisis, a western missionary, introduced it to China in 1611. It is estimated that it was introduced in Korea before the 18th century. It was made by Park Gyusu(1807∼1877).
