Period/ 2014.06.24(Tue) ~ 2014.10.10(Fri)
Dasan Jeong Yak-yong wrote quite extensively. It is reported that he wrote as many as 503 volumes of books and this is unprecedented in the East Asian cultural sphere. These writings came out to the world through the efforts of his disciples he met in his place of exile, Gangjin.
This exhibition introduced Dasan Jeong Yak-yong’s life in exile in Gangjin and the disciples he met there. It focused on how 《Yeoyudang Jeonseo》 was compiled through these disciples who are later referred to as ‘Dasan Hakdan.’
