A portrait drawing the entire body with Samo (black gauze hat) and Daeryebok(important ceremony costume). Even though he is an old man he shows the dignied appearance of a Taoist hermit. There is Eojechan(御製贊: Imperial compliment on loyalty) by King Sukjong “He served the country with his whole heart”. King Yeongjo appreciated this portrait and composed a poem using rhyming word from the compliment by King Sukjong in Feb. 1751.
